"…what we saw cross the road was probably seven feet tall, big, and moving at a brisk pace. It's unusual to see bears walking on their hind legs so that's why we were convinced it was what we call the Swamp Ape.”
"The Thing was black and its body was about the size of a large dog. It was the arms and legs, if they WERE arms and legs, that looked as though they belonged to an entirely different creature. "
"As we drove by older farmhouses and fields of corn and soybeans, I noticed in a field a large spotted dog. And as we got closer I slowed down to take a closer look. "
"All I see are 4 thick, hairy, orange and black legs coming out of by the sink basin. They were at least 10 inches long and at least as thick as pencils. Very hairy, from about 5 feet away I could see the separate orange and black hairs."
You can tell me all about how the woods are scary and bad, but to a German country boy, going through the woods in Bavaria, clocking in at over 6 feet, with a sturdy cane, there is not much terrifying sh*t going on.
"It was about 6:30pm, the sun was still out and this giant was swinging in the trees. Its skin looked like tree bark and it was happy. I just stared at it in disbelief for about 5 minutes."
"It was walking really slowly to cross the street which was odd because 1) it's 3am and I don't know who would let their ginormous dog out that late in their front yard, and 2) it was heading toward the other side of the road which is just a small area of forests and then a lake."
" It was just standing there, didn't seem frightened by us and was there long enough for my Grade 6 teacher to take a photo of it & then it walked away..."
"It's teeth gave it away, it was panting and staring at my cousin, I don't expect you to believe me, but what I saw was a wolf as big as a black bear, at least 300lbs, but it wasn't normal, this wolf was on 2 legs crouching next to tree with its arm grasping the tree, grasping with a clawed hand, it had reddish brown fur."
